Is music allowed? 

No loud music is allowed at any time. El Escondite de Pedro Malillo is a place of rest, to relax, to disconnect from noise and to connect with nature. It is allowed to listen to music appropriately, that is to say, with medium-low volume so as not to disturb other guests from other houses.


Is there a coffee maker?

Yes, each house has two types of coffee makers:- Melita type ground coffee- Flexible capsule coffee maker type senseo.


Are there supermarkets near the houses? 

There are many supermarkets (Día, La despensa...) in Candeleda, 7 minutes away from the houses. In addition, there are butchers, fishmongers and all kinds of stores where you can get organic products from the area.


Do the houses have sheets and towels?

Yes, they have sheets, towels and pool towels. The only thing they don't have are sheets for the crib, the client must bring them.


What activities/sports can be done in Candeleda?

Yes, there are many sports and activities that can be done near the houses. Here you can see them.


Is there wifi?

Yes, there is wifi in all the houses. It works very well and any network failure is usually solved in the same day.


Is there charcoal for the barbecue?

Yes, each client receives a bucket with charcoal and pine cones to light it. In addition, the barbecues are fully equipped with the necessary utensils (tongs, spatula and fork)


Are there insects?

The houses are located in the middle of nature, so there are wasps, flies, grasshoppers.... Each house has mosquito spray and a first aid kit, as well as mosquito nets.


Is the road easy to access?

The roads are asphalted so any car can access without any problem. The houses are located at the top of the mountain so there are steep slopes.


Are there restaurants near the houses?

Yes, there are several restaurants (avant-garde and traditional). Here you can see them.


Do the houses have fireplaces?

Yes, all the houses have fireplaces, as well as firewood and pine cones.


Is the kitchen equipped?

Yes, except for food, the kitchen has everything you need (pans, pressure cooker, kettle, mini blender...).


Does it usually snow?

No, the weather is more moderate in Extremadura than in Madrid. It does not snow.


Is there a hospital nearby?

Yes, in Candeleda, 8 minutes by car, there is a health center.


Are the houses prepared for people with reduced mobility?

The houses are located in the mountains, with many slopes and differences in height, which makes the existence of steps inevitable. In general, the houses do not have steps inside, but for access to most of the houses there are steps.
